Warden Station bus terminal closure

Effective January 5, 2025

The bus terminal at Warden Station will be closed for approximately three years starting January 2025 for demolition and construction of a modern, accessible bus terminal with two new elevators connecting customers between the Passenger Pick-Up/Drop-Off area (PPUDO), concourse level and subway platform, and the installation of improved signage and wayfinding.

The south commuter parking lot will be converted into a temporary bus terminal and four bus stops will be installed outside the station on Warden Avenue. Fencing and signage will be installed to guide customers from the on-street stops to the station entrance – approximately 250m or a three-minute walk to/from the furthest stop.

A temporary waiting lot for customer pick-up and drop-off will be available off Warden Avenue, south of the new temporary bus terminal.

Construction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2027. Construction schedules are subject to change.

Starting January 5, buses will be relocated to the new temporary bus terminal or temporary stops outside the station on Warden Avenue.

TRAVEL TIP: When transferring from an on-street bus to the station you must tap the PRESTO reader at the fare gate using the same PRESTO, debit or credit card you tapped on the bus. This will validate your free transfer within the two-hour period. If paying by cash, TTC ticket or token, you must get a paper transfer from the bus Operator as your Proof-of-Payment and show it to the collector when entering the station.
