Line 5 Eglinton: Better connecting Toronto from east to west

Line 5 Eglinton is 19 km of light rail transit connecting customers along Eglinton Avenue from Kennedy Road in the east to Weston Road in the west, and back. It will provide customers with convenient and reliable rapid transit service along a very busy corridor that has outgrown our longstanding bus services.

With 25 stops and links to 54 bus routes, three TTC subway stations and GO lines, the fully accessible Line 5 will improve the speed, quality and reliability of TTC service along the busy Eglinton corridor.

As we get closer to opening day, we’ll be updating our website with everything you need to know about the new line, affected bus routes, service and stop changes, and most importantly, how all of this affects your commute.

We encourage you to bookmark this page and check back often for the latest information and updates.
