TTC CNIB Toronto Transportation Card

The TTC CNIB transit card is available from the CNIB and provides unlimited travel on the TTC within the City of Toronto. This card is for CNIB clients who meet the criteria – legally blind and living in the City of Toronto.

There are a few important things you need to know about your card before you use it:

  1. Your transit card is only valid when used in combination with your CNIB photo identification card. CNIB membership must be in good standing.
  2. Your card works like a PRESTO card – tap it each time you enter a subway station or board a vehicle on the street. If you need help learning how to do this, you can contact the CNIB at 1-800-563-2642.
  3. Do not punch a hole in your card or it will damage the embedded chip making it inoperable.
  4. Adding funds to your TTC CNIB transit card will make it invalid.
