Take the TTC to The Santa Claus Parade
The Holly Jolly Fun Run and Santa Claus Parade are taking place on November 26 and the TTC is a great way to get to these events!
You can travel to Christie, Bathurst, Spadina, St George, Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick, Osgoode, Queen or King stations, which are conveniently located along the parade route.The following bus and streetcar routes will be diverting during the Santa Claus Parade and the Holly Jolly Fun Run, so be sure to plan ahead:
- 13 Avenue Road
- 19 Bay
- 72 Pape
- 75 Sherbourne
- 94A Wellesley
- 121 Esplanade-River
- 126 Christie
- 501B Queen
- 501D Queen
- 300 Bloor-Danforth
503 Kingston Road, 504 King, 505 Dundas, 506 Carlton and 511 Bathurst streetcars will be maintained through gaps in the parade.
The Holly Jolly Fun Run will start at 11:45 a.m. on Bloor Street, just west of Bathurst Street between Manning and Euclid Avenues. It will then follow the same route as the parade (see routing details below), but will end at Maple Leaf Square.
The parade will start at 12:30 p.m. at Bloor Street West and Christie Street. It will move eastbound along Bloor Street West to Spadina Avenue, travel southbound on Spadina Avenue to Hoskin Avenue and then eastbound to Queen’s Park Crescent East. It will then travel down University Avenue to Wellington Street and will continue east along Wellington Street, and will head south on Yonge Street, east on Front Street, ending at the intersection of Front and Jarvis streets, at the St. Lawrence Market.
To spread extra holiday cheer this weekend, extra service will be added on Line 1 and on Line 2, to help get you to and from the parade!

Paying your fare:
Paying your fare is fast and easy on the TTC! You can tap:
- Your debit or credit card on a PRESTO reader on a vehicle or at a fare gate. You will be charged $3.30, the same as the adult PRESTO fare.
- Your PRESTO card or PRESTO in Google Wallet on your Android smartphone or Wear OS smartwatch on a PRESTO reader on a vehicle or at a fare gate.
- Your one-ride, two-ride or day pass PRESTO Ticket on a PRESTO reader on a vehicle or at a fare gate. You can purchase PRESTO Tickets in advance at any Shoppers Drug Mart location, or from any Fare Vending Machine at TTC stations.
You can also pay with TTC tickets, tokens or cash. Don’t forget to get a paper transfer if you will be transferring between bus, streetcars or subway stations.
PRESTO, debit and credit card customers can take advantage of the two-hour transfer, which allows you to enter and exit the TTC as much as you’d like within two-hours from your first tap.
