TTC to 'stay up all night' for nuit blanche

Nuit Blanche is back this Saturday and the TTC wants to once again help customers make the most of the festival by extending subway service on Lines 1, 2 and 3. The subway will run every 10-15 minutes on Lines 1, 2 and 3 from 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning until regularly scheduled service resumes at 8 a.m. TTC customers viewing installations in Scarborough will be permitted free re-entry at Scarborough Centre Station.

Service will also be extended overnight on the 509 Harbourfront, 511 Bathurst streetcar routes.

The 300 Bloor-Danforth, 320 Yonge and 310 Spadina blue night routes will run all night as scheduled. Line 4 Sheppard will operate on normal Saturday night/Sunday morning schedules.

Nuit Blanche festivities will result in diversions on the 6 Bay, 121 Fort York-Esplanade and 501/301 Queen routes. Customers are advised to check ttc.ca and follow @TTCnotices for more details and real-time service updates.

On Sunday morning, those participating in CIBC's Run for the Cure can also take advantage of the added subway service on Lines 1, 2 and 3.

The following surface routes will be diverting to accommodate the event:

  • 5 Avenue Rd
  • 94 Wellesley
  • 506 Carlton
  • 300 Bloor-Danforth

Customers should also look out for the brightly coloured public art project, A Streetcar Named Toronto, this weekend. The CLRV will be running on the 511 Bathurst route during Nuit Blanche.
