Take the TTC to all this weekend's events

This long weekend, there are no scheduled TTC subway closures, and the city is bustling with a variety of celebrations and events. The TTC is encouraging customers to take transit to get around safely using the following routes:

Caribbean Carnival Grande Parade

- We will have special express shuttles departing from Dufferin and Keele stations. These buses won't make any stops along the way and will head directly to the parade and back.
- Customers can also take the southbound 29 Dufferin route from Dufferin Station, the 504A streetcar from Dundas West, 509 Harbourfront streetcar westbound from Union Station to Exhibition Loop, or the 511 Bathurst streetcar southbound from Bathurst Station to the festivities

Please note that the 63 Ossington, 121 Fort York - Esplanade, 504B King and 510 Spadina routes will divert to accommodate the parade.

There will also be extra subway, bus and streetcar service to and from the parade, as well as extra staff stationed at key locations to accommodate the additional volume anticipated. Wheel-Trans vehicles can be requested by speaking with a TTC staff member at any station.

Veld Music Festival

- Take Line 1 (Yonge-University) to Downsview Park Station.
Please note that the 101 Downsview Park will divert to accommodate the festival.

Rogers Cup

- Take Line 1 (Yonge-University) to Pioneer Village Station. The Aviva centre is a short walk from the station.

Please see http://www.ttc.ca/Service_Advisories/Route_diversions/index.jsp for more info regarding temporary route adjustments.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternative routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for eAlerts at ttc.ca
