A portion of TTC Line 1 to close early next Mon-Thurs

Next week, the portion of the TTC’s Line 1 between Wilson and St Clair West stations will close at 11 p.m. nightly from Mon., Apr. 15 through Thurs., Apr. 18 for track maintenance.

Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. Glencairn Station will be closed, but all others will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes. Shuttle loading and offloading procedures will vary from station to station. TTC staff will be on hand to help direct customers to the appropriate shuttle locations. Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station. Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency. As Wilson Station is not yet accessible, customers requiring an accessible connection should use Sheppard West Station instead.

This weekend

The TTC is also reminding customers that this weekend, Apr. 13-14, the portion of Line 1 between Bloor and Osgoode stations will be closed as TTC crews continue the installation of the new Automatic Train Control (ATC) signal system.

Shuttle buses will run, stopping outside each station along the route. Wellesley Station will be closed throughout the weekend, but all others will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes.

Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station throughout the weekend. Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency.

Customers going to cheer on our home teams this weekend can use the frequent shuttle bus service, the university portion of Line 1 or the 510 Spadina streetcar to Union Station. A Wheel-Trans vehicle will also run along the shuttle bus route for customers requiring an accessible connection.
