Visit the TTC display at the People in Motion Show

Tomorrow and Saturday, June 15-16, from 10 a.m. to 5.p.m., the TTC will be at Variety Village for People in Motion 2018, Canada’s largest exhibition for people with disabilities. Admission to the event is free.

Visitors to the TTC booth will get information about the Wheel-Trans 10-Year Strategy, including the Family of Services pilot, new vehicles, community bus routes and TTC’s travel training pilot program.

A low-floor accessible TTC bus will be available for visitors to practice boarding, securement and disembarking procedures, assisted by a TTC operator.

Members of the Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit (ACAT) will be on hand to answer questions and gather feedback on improving TTC accessibility.

There is no shuttle service, but customers who wish to take accessible transit service can use the 12A Kingston Road bus from Victoria Park or Kennedy stations to 3701 Danforth Ave. (Variety Village).

To book your Wheel-Trans ride to the show, please visit mywheel-trans.ttc.ca or call the RideLine at 416-397-8000.
