Plan ahead and take the TTC this Canada Day long weekend

Fireworks Celebrations

Here are your best routes to Canada Day fireworks celebrations on Friday, July 1:

- For the fireworks display at Ashbridge’s Bay, take the 92 Woodbine South from Woodbine Station (Line 2 Bloor-Danforth) or the 22 Coxwell bus from Coxwell Station on Line 2. Customers can also take the 501 Queen streetcar/shuttle bus.

- Wheel-Trans will be available at Woodbine Loop for customers requiring an accessible connection. TTC Ambassadors will be on site at Coxwell and Woodbine stations to assist customers.

Please note that heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic may cause road closures and route diversions in this area. Plan your trip at ttc.ca and follow @TTCnotices on Twitter for the most up-to-date route information.

For the fireworks display at Mel Lastman Square, take Line 1 Yonge-University to North York Centre Station.

Toronto Pride Festival

Buses on the 94 Wellesley route will divert starting at 6 a.m. on July 1 until midnight on July 3 for The Toronto Pride Festival, which will close Church from Gloucester to Wood Sts.

Buses will divert both ways via Jarvis and Bloor Sts., and Spadina Ave. Buses will not enter Wellesley Station during the diversion.

The TTC is proud to be participating in the annual Pride Parade on Sunday, July 3. Say hello as TTC staff, family and friends march alongside our family of TTC vehicles, including our specially-wrapped Pride bus.

Redpath Waterfront Festival

The TTC will increase service as needed on the 75 Sherbourne, 6 Bay and 509 Harbourfront to connect customers to Queens Quay during the Redpath Waterfront Festival, which runs from July 1-3. The 510 Spadina route will not service Union Station during this event, and will turn back at Queens Quay and Spadina.

Customers can also take advantage of unlimited travel with the TTC’s Group/Family Day Pass for just $12. The Group/Family Pass can be purchased with the TTC’s e-ticketing app, TTCconnect, using an iOS or Android device, or at any subway station collector booth.

Group/Family Day Passes are ideal for two adults and not more than four youths 13 to 19 years of age. Children 12 and under ride the TTC for free.
