TTC welcomes Santa and Mrs. Claus to the subway


The holiday season season officially gets underway on the TTC this week as Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and TTC Chair Josh Colle visit various subway stations this Thursday.

First stop will be Bloor-Yonge Station at 11 a.m., where Santa will unveil the spectacular annual Christmas train display, created by retired TTC employee Bill Marushiak.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will hand out candy canes, wishing TTC customers and employees a  safe and joyous holiday season. Santa, Mrs. Claus and Chair Colle will then ride the subway.

Santa Claus will be performed by TTC’s Chief Customer Officer and Deputy CEO Chris Upfold. Mrs. Claus will be performed by Sue Motahedin, the TTC’s Head of Customer Service.
