TTC subway service open all night for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche

This Saturday and into early Sunday, the TTC will operate subway service on Lines 1 and 2 all night, from Downsview to Finch stations on Line 1 and from Kennedy to Kipling stations on Line 2 for those taking in the sights and sounds of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. Bus and streetcar service will also be extended on a number of routes. As well, free commuter parking is available at all TTC parking lots across the city.

Extra streetcars will be added to the 501/301 Queen, 306 Carlton, 509 Harbourfront and 510 Spadina. As well, the 501/301 Queen, 75 Sherbourne, 6 Bay, 5 Avenue Rd and 94 Wellesley will be on diversion. TTC staff will be available to assist customers.

This year, the TTC is also part of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. Internationally acclaimed artist JR will feature his art, Inside Out, at Dufferin and Coxwell stations. Breaking down generational, socioeconomic and racial barriers, Inside Out has become a social phenomenon that over 250,000 people from more than 120 countries have participated in worldwide.

The TTC is offering a special event Scotiabank Nuit Blanche Day Pass that provides unlimited travel for just $11.50 starting on Saturday, October 3 at 5:30 a.m., until 9 a.m. on Sunday, October 4. The pass is good for a group of up to six people, maximum two adults over 19. The pass is on sale at all TTC collector booths.

On Sunday morning, those heading out to CIBC’s Run for the Cure can also take advantage of the all-night subway service on Lines 1 and 2.  Lines 3 and 4 will operate on their normal Saturday night/Sunday morning schedules. The Blue Night Network will operate normally, as well. At 9 a.m., regular, system-wide service will resume on all subway and surface routes.
