Visit the TTC display at the People in Motion Show


On June 6 and 7, the Toronto Transit Commission will display a low-floor accessible bus and have an information booth at People in Motion 2014, Canada’s largest exhibition for people with disabilities.  The show takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Building, Exhibition Place.

Drop by and give the TTC your feedback on the TTC’s integrated accessible network. On Friday, meet the Community Liaison Team from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and TTC Managers from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Members of the Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit (ACAT) will be on hand as well.

On Saturday, new signage and wayfinding initiatives will be discussed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For accessible transit service, take the 509 Harbourfront replacement bus or the 29 Dufferin. The TTC will also be offering a Wheel-Trans shuttle bus from Bathurst Station every half hour both days. The first bus departs Bathurst Station at 9:30 a.m. with the last bus departing at 4:30 p.m. The first bus departs the Queen Elizabeth Building at 10 a.m., with the last bus departing for Bathurst Station at 5:30 p.m.
