TTC makes summer service changes

The Toronto Transit Commission is making service changes starting on Sun., June 22.  Service on several popular routes will be increased, because of higher summer ridership to Toronto’s waterfront and other attractions. Service in the peak periods on busy routes will be reduced slightly, because of lower summer rush hour ridership.

Some destination signs that designate branches on bus routes will change, making branch and destination information more clear and consistent for customers. For example, the 5 Avenue Rd (Eglinton Station-Queen’s Park) branch will be renamed 5 Avenue Rd A (Eglinton Station-Queen’s Park). The 5 Avenue Rd C (Eglinton Station-Gerrard) branch will be renamed 5 Avenue Rd B (Eglinton Station-Gerrard).
