TTC WorldPride 2014 information

The Toronto Transit Commission is celebrating WorldPride 2014 with a special Weekend Pass and a rainbow-wrapped bus that will be part of a number of Pride-related events, including this Sunday's parade and a group wedding at Casa Loma on Thursday.

To make travel easier this weekend, the TTC has produced a special WorldPride-branded TTC event Family/Group Weekend Pass. For just $22, the pass provides unlimited travel on June 28 and 29 for a group of up to six people, maximum two adults and four children under 19. The pass can be purchased at any TTC collector booth or authorized fare media seller.

The TTC's WorldPride bus is operating on the 94 Wellesley route and will be part of this year's parade on Sunday.  As always, TTC staff and family will be part of the celebration.

This Thursday, the bus will shuttle brides, grooms and their guests between Bathurst Station and Casa Loma, where more than 110 couples will exchange vows in a ceremony that will break the North American record for the largest group same-sex wedding. The shuttle will operate between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and remain at Casa Loma until 4 p.m. for the first part of the celebration.

The TTC is a proud partner with Pride Toronto and encourages you to Ride with Pride at WorldPride 2014 Toronto.
