Take the TTC and welcome Santa back to Toronto

The Santa Claus parade is this Sunday, November 17. To avoid traffic and parking problems, the TTC is the recommended way to welcome Santa Claus back to Toronto.

Subway stations are located along or near the parade route, starting at Christie Station on the Bloor-Danforth line, as well as Bathurst, Spadina and St. George stations, and on the Yonge-University-Spadina line at Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick, Osgoode, St Andrew and King stations.

The 501 Queen, 504 King, 505 Dundas, 506 Carlton streetcars and 511 Bathurst replacement buses will be maintained over regular routing through breaks in the parade. A number of buses will divert for the duration of the parade, including the 5 Avenue Rd, 6 Bay, 72A Pape, 94 Wellesley, 126 Christie, 161 Rogers Rd. and the 509 replacement buses.

For $10.75, a TTC Family/Day pass provides unlimited one day travel for a group of up to six people, maximum two adults over 19 years of age. To avoid line-ups, the TTC encourages customers to get their passes early. The Family/Day Pass can be purchased in advance of the parade at TTC collector booths and participating fare media sellers, or on the day of the parade. Details are available at www.ttc.ca.
