TTC Statement

The Toronto Transit Commission has met with the employee involved in an incident on November 14 on the 501 Queen streetcar, as per the process set out in the collective bargaining agreement.

TTC procedures and protocols were reinforced with the employee with respect to leaving a vehicle unattended, and the importance of personal safety and the safety of customers and other motorists. The employee was returned to duty without loss of pay.
