TTC subway track work affects portions of Spadina line this weekend


On Saturday and Sunday

This weekend, on Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13, work associated with the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension will be conducted at Downsview Station.

As a result of this work, there will be no subway service between Wilson and Downsview Stations.

The closure will take effect immediately after the end of Friday service. Starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, a frequent shuttle bus service will run between Wilson and Downsview Stations. Trains will turn back at Wilson Station (for southbound service only).

A Wheel-Trans bus will be on stand-by at Eglinton West Station (accessible station) for customers with mobility limitations requiring transit up to Downsview Station and back.

Regular subway service will resume on Monday, March 14, at 6 a.m.

On Sunday

On Sunday, March 13, track work on the Spadina subway line, between St. George and St. Clair West Stations, will result in no subway service until 2 p.m. Trains will turn back at St. George (southbound only) and at St. Clair West (northbound only).

A frequent accessible shuttle bus service will run between St. George and St. Clair West Stations, stopping at St. Clair West, Dupont and Spadina subway stations.

There will be no impact to the Bloor-Danforth line as a result of this work.

Subway service will resume at 2 p.m.
