TTC increases service on many routes to summer attractions PCC streetcar to run on Harbourfront line Sundays


The Toronto Transit Commission is making it easier for customers to attend summer events in the city by increasing service on many popular routes, starting Sunday, May 9:

  • 28 DAVISVILLE Saturday route extension to Don Valley Brick Works Park
  • 29 DUFFERIN Route extension to Ontario Place
  • 72 PAPE Evening and weekend route extension to Cherry Beach
  • 85 SHEPPARD EAST Later service to the Toronto Zoo
  • 86 SCARBOROUGH Saturday and Sunday route extension to the Toronto Zoo
  • 92 WOODBINE SOUTH Increased service
  • 165 WESTON RD NORTH Saturday and Sunday route extension to Canada’s Wonderland
  • 192 AIRPORT ROCKET Increased service
  • 509 HARBOURFRONT Increased service. A heritage PCC streetcar will run Sundays May 9 to September 5.
  • 510 SPADINA Increased service to Harbourfront
  • 511 BATHURST Increased service to Exhibition Place

The TTC is also making changes to several routes starting May 9:

  • 25 DON MILLS Service north of Steeles Avenue replaced by revised York Region Transit bus route
  • 72 PAPE Temporarily re-routed to Donlands Station during construction
  • 96C WILSON Late evening service removed from Thistle Down Boulevard
  • 96B WILSON New service on Claireville Drive serving the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir
  • 224 VICTORIA PARK NORTH Service extended north of Elgin Mills Road
  • 510 SPADINA Increased service to Chinatown and Harbourfront
  • 504 KING Streetcars temporarily re-routed and replaced by buses west of Shaw Street during construction
