Face Masks

Essential information about wearing your mask on the TTC during COVID-19

1. Face masks

Masks are strongly recommended when travelling on the TTC, with some exceptions. When correctly worn, masks should cover your mouth, nose and chin.
Thanks for doing your part

The TTC has selected a vending company to install personal protective equipment (PPE) machines in select stations. The machines offer customers a convenient way to purchase items they may need or want while travelling on the system. Customers can purchase a variety of items from the vending machines including one-use and multi-use face masks, gloves, sanitizer and wipes. Customers can pay using cash and cashless methods.

The TTC will not be enforcing the use of masks. Customers who choose not to wear a mask will still be permitted to board TTC vehicles. Not all medical or other conditions are visible. Customers unable to wear a mask can obtain a mask exemption card or button.
