Queen Street East
Transit update effective Saturday, March 28
Effective 5 a.m. Saturday, March 28, westbound 503 Kingston Rd buses, 504A King buses and 301B Queen buses will resume operating on Queen Street East, west of Broadview Avenue.
From January to March, the City’s contractor mobilized on Queen Street East between Broadview Avenue and Davies Avenue for watermain and streetcar track replacement. Major construction work is now complete.
Traffic restrictions tied to construction is expected to end on Friday, March 27. As a result, westbound TTC buses will resume operating on Queen Street East, west of Broadview Avenue, at 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 28. For full service details, see the Service Changes webpage.
TTC will continue nearby overhead upgrades, as well as test and commission the newly completed track infrastructure, before regular streetcar service resumes on May 3, 2026.
