Track Renewal and Overhead Upgrades

Long Branch Loop

What we are doing and why

From June through October 2026, the TTC completed track renewal and overhead power upgrades at the Long Branch Loop and the west intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Browns Line – as part of its state-of-good-repair program.

Major construction is now complete. Minor finishing work may continue through early November 2026.

The Long Branch Streetcar Loop has reopened, and streetcar service has been reinstated.

TTC Service Changes (Began November 1, 2026) – Subject to Change*

  • Service on 507 Long Branch Streetcar has been reinstated to operate until 10pm. With this change, 507M and 507 Long Branch bus replacement services have been removed.
