The following streetcar routes have service changes due to various construction projects.  Please visit this page regularly to stay up to date on all streetcar service changes. You can also follow @ttcnoticessubscribe to e-Alerts, or plan your trip using our Trip Planner.

  • 501/301 Queen

    There are currently two service changes on this route.  

    Effective March 31, 2024 until further notice

    Service on the 301 Queen will be restored to streetcar service. Streetcars will operate between Long Branch Loop and Neville Park Loop diverting via Spadina Avenue, King Street and Church Street to bypass Ontario Line construction at Queen Street and Yonge Street.

    Existing 301 Queen bus service will be renamed to 301B Queen and operate between Bathurst Street and Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street East every 30 minutes.

    Eastbound buses: east Queen Street, south Bay Street, east King Street, north Church Street, east Queen Street, north Broadview Avenue, east Gerrard Street to St Matthews Road.

    Westbound buses: north St Matthews Road, east Jack Layton Way, south Broadview Avenue west Queen Street, south Church Street, west Richmond Street, north Bay Street, west Queen Street to Bathurst Street.

    Effective February 18, 2024

    501A Queen streetcars will operate between McCaul Loop and Dufferin Gate Loop via Dufferin Street until 10 p.m. 

    Customers can transfer between 501A Queen streetcars and 504B King or 508 Lake Shore streetcars to continue on Queen Street, west of Dufferin Street.

    After 10 p.m., 501C Queen streetcars will operate between McCaul Loop and Long Branch Loop operating along Queen Street. 301 Queen night service will remain unchanged.

  • 503 Kingston Road - NEW

    There is currently one service change on this route.

    Effective 11 p.m., July 12 to 4 a.m., July 17, 2024

    504A King streetcars will divert both ways, via Spadina Avenue, Queen Street, McCaul Street, Dundas Street, Broadview Avenue, Queen Street, King Street, Sumach and Cherry streets.

    504A King replacement buses will operate between Bathurst Street and Broadview Station, via King Street, Queen Street, Broadview Avenue.

    504B/304 King and 508 Lake Shore streetcars will divert both ways, via Spadina Avenue, Queen Street, McCaul Street, Dundas Street, Broadview Avenue.

    504B/304 King replacement buses will operate between Bathurst Street and Broadview Station, via King Street, Queen Street, Broadview Avenue.

    503 Kingston Road streetcars will divert to Distillery Loop, via Queen Street, King Street, Sumach and Cherry streets.

    Transfer points;

    West side:

    Westbound streetcars: board on King Street (north side), east of Bathurst Street.

    Eatbound buses: board on Bathurst Street (east side), north of King Street.

    East side:

    Westbound buses: board on Broadview Avenue (west side), north of Dundas Street, or board on Queen Street (north side), east of River Street.

    Eastbound streetcars: board on Queen Street (south side), west of Broadview Avenue.

  • 504/304 King 

    There is currently one service change on this route. 

    Effective Sunday, February 18, 2024 until December 2024

    Due to watermain replacement and track renewal on King Street West between Dufferin Street and Shaw Street, 504A/504B/304 King streetcars will be required to divert.

    504 King streetcars will divert onto Queen Street West between Roncesvalles Avenue and Shaw Street. 504A King streetcars will continue to operate between Dundas West Station and Distillery Loop. 504B King streetcars will operate between Humber Loop and Broadview Station before 10 p.m. After 10 p.m., 504B King streetcars will operate between Roncesvalles Avenue and Broadview Station.

    304 King streetcars will divert onto Queen Street West. between Roncesvalles Avenue and Shaw Street, operating between Dundas West Station and Broadview Station.

  • 505 Dundas 

    There is currently one service change affecting this route.

    Effective 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., June 30

    505 Dundas will split between west and east of Yonge Street.

    West of Yonge Street

    505 Dundas streetcars will turn back via Bathurst Street to Bathurst Station.

    505 Dundas replacement buses will operate between Bathurst Street and University Avenue, via Dundas Street.

    Transfer points;

    Eastbound buses: board on Bathurst Street (east side), south of Dundas Street.

    Westbound streetcars: board on Dundas Street (north side), west of Bathurst Street.

    East of Yonge Street:

    505 Dundas streetcars will turn back east, via south on Church Street, east on King Street, north on Parliament Street and east on Dundas Street, to regular route.

  • 506/306 Carlton - NEW

    There is currently one service changes on this route.

    Effective 11 p.m., July 26 to 4 a.m., July 29, 2024

    506/306 Carlton streetcars will divert both ways, via Gerrard Street, Broadview Avenue, Queen Street, Coxwell Avenue.

    506/306 Carlton replacement buses will operate on Gerrard Street, between River Street and Coxwell Avenue.

    Transfer points;

    Westbound streetcars: board on Gerrard Street (north side), west of Broadview Avenue.

    Eastbound buses: board on Gerrard Street (south side), west of Broadview Avenue.

    Westbound buses: board on Gerrard Street (north side), west of Coxwell Avenue.

    Eastbound streetcars: board on Coxwell Avenue (east side), south of Gerrard Street.

  • 507 Long Branch

    Effective November 19, 507 Long Branch streetcars will return to service operating between Long Branch Loop and Humber Loop every day until 10 p.m. Customers can board 507 Long Branch streetcars from platforms on Lake Shore Boulevard. From 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., service will be provided by 501 Queen streetcars, providing customers with transfer-free service between Long Branch Loop and McCaul Street.

    301 Queen overnight replacement buses will continue to operate between Long Branch Loop and Neville Park Loop, seven days a week.

    With full streetcar service resuming from Long Branch Loop to McCaul Street, 501L Queen replacement buses that were operating between Long Branch and Humber Loop, via Lake Shore Boulevard, Park Lawn Road and The Queensway will be removed.

    501M Queen replacement buses, that were operating between Marine Parade Drive and Humber Loop via Lake Shore Boulevard, Marine Parade Drive, Park Lawn Road and The Queensway will also be removed.

  • 508 Lake Shore 

    There is currently two service changes on this route. 

    508 Lake Shore – routing change to Broadview Station

    508 Lake Shore streetcars will now service Broadview Station in the morning and afternoon rush hours, Monday to Friday. This service provides customers with another option to get from Long Branch Loop to Line 2 Bloor-Danforth. Customers should board a 508 Lake Shore streetcar on the 505 Dundas platform at Broadview Station.

    508 Lake Shore streetcars will no longer service Dundas Street East or Parliament Street as a result of this change.

    508 Lake Shore streetcars, which normally travel along King Street on weekdays, will divert via Queen Street and Shaw Street, to regular route.

  • 509 Harbourfront – NEW

    There is currently one service changes on this route.

    9 p.m., July 29 to 4 a.m., July 30, and

    9 p.m., July 30 to 4 a.m., July 31, 2024

    509 Harbourfront streetcars will turn back east from Fleet Loop.

    509 Harbourfront replacement buses will operate as follows:

    Westbound: west on Queens Quay, north on Bathurst Street, west on Fort York Boulevard, south on Iannuzzi Street and west on Fleet Street, to Exhibition Loop.

    Eastbound: from Exhibition Loop, east on Fleet Street, north and east on Fort York Boulevard, south on Bathurst Street, east on Queens Quay, north on Dan Leckie Way, east on Lake Shore Boulevard and south on Lower Spadina Avenue, to Queens Quay.

    Transfer points;

    Westbound buses: board on Dan Leckie Way (west side), north of Fleet Street.

    Eastbound streetcars: board on Lake Shore Boulevard (south side), east of Iannuzzi Street.

  • 510/310 Spadina – NEW as of July 5

    There are currently two service changes on this route. 

    New, effective July 8, 2024

    510 Spadina replacement buses will no longer operate on Spadina Avenue between Front Street West and Queen’s Quay West, Monday to Friday between 3 and 7 p.m.

    Effective June 23, 2024 until December 2024

    510/310 Spadina – buses replacing streetcar service until late 2024

    510 Spadina streetcar service will be suspended and replaced with buses due to overhead infrastructure work, and track work at Spadina Station. Buses will service curbside stops between Spadina Station and Queens Quay West, travelling via Lake Shore Boulevard West, Dan Leckie Way and Queens Quay West.

    Customers travelling to Union Station will need to transfer to a 509 Harbourfront streetcar at Queens Quay West. 509 Harbourfront streetcar service will be increased. 310 Spadina overnight streetcar service will be replaced with buses along the entire route, operating between Spadina Station and Bay Street and Front Street (Union Station).

    Buses will service curbside stops. Southbound buses will operate via Spadina Avenue, Lake Shore Boulevard West, Rees Street, Queens Quay, Simcoe Street, Harbour Street and Bay Street. Northbound buses will operate via Bay Street, Queens Quay and Spadina Avenue.

  • 511 Bathurst – NEW

    There is currently one service change on this route.

    9 p.m., July 29 to 4 a.m., July 30, and

    9 p.m., July 30 to 4 a.m., July 31, 2024

    511 Bathurst streetcars will divert to Fleet Loop.

    511 Bathurst replacement buses will operate as follows:

    Southbound: from Bathurst Station, south on Bathurst Street, west on Fort York Boulevard, south on Iannuzzi Street and west on Fleet Street, to Exhibition Loop.

    Northbound: from Exhibition Loop, east on Fleet Street, south on Fort York Boulevard, east on Lake Shore Boulevard, east on Fleet Street and north on Bathurst Street, to Bathurst Station.

    Transfer points;

    Westbound buses: board on Dan Leckie Way (west side), north of Fleet Street.

    Eastbound streetcars: board on Lake Shore Boulevard (south side), east of Iannuzzi Street

    511 Bathurst streetcars will divert both ways, via both ways, via Dundas Street, Spadina Avenue, King Street.

  • 512/312 St Clair 

    There is currently one service change on this route.

    512 St Clair streetcars will resume between Gunns Loop and St Clair Station. 512 St Clair bus replacement service will be suspended.

    512 St Clair streetcars will continue to by-pass St Clair West Station in both directions. Customers can transfer to and from Line 1 via St Clair West Station from stops located at Bathurst Street and Tweedsmuir Avenue, located a 5 minute and 2 minute walk away respectively. 512 St Clair streetcars will arrive every 10 minutes or better in all time periods.

    In addition to this change, a new 312 St Clair night streetcar service will be introduced between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. and will operate from St Clair Station to Gunns Loop. Streetcars will arrive every 30 minutes. 312 St Clair night streetcars will by-pass St Clair West Station in both directions.

    As a result of this change, the existing 312 St Clair-Junction overnight bus will be replaced with a new shortended 340 Junction overnight bus, operating between Gunns Loop and Dundas West Station via St Clair Avenue West, Jane Street and Dundas Street West. Buses will arrive every 30 minutes.
