Collection statement for Streetcar Illegal Passing Pilot Program

Collection Statement/Notice of Collection:

The Toronto Transit Commission (“TTC”) is conducting a Streetcar Illegal Passing Camera pilot project from [date] to [date] (the “SIPC Pilot Project”). The personal information collected by TTC under the SIPC Pilot Project is collected under the authority of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.56, and section 166 of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8 (the “HTA”), each as amended from time to time, for the purpose of testing the viability and accuracy of the camera technology for the issue and administration of tickets for automobile infractions respecting the illegal passing of streetcars under the HTA.
