The TTC is the better way to travel this Canada Day long weekend

This Canada Day, use the TTC to attend celebrations taking place across the city and GTA:

• Pride Parade: Starts at 2 p.m., July 1, and runs from Church and Bloor Sts., south to Gerrard St. Take the Yonge subway and exit at Bloor, Wellesley or College Stations.
• Ashbridge’s Bay Fireworks Display: Starts at 9:45 p.m. Take the 22A Coxwell, 92 Woodbine South or 501 Queen.
• Canada Day at Mel Lastman Square: Festivities start at 5 p.m., fireworks at 10:15 p.m. Exit at North York Centre Station, or take the 97 Yonge.
• East York Canada Day Parade/Festival: Starts at 9:30 a.m. Take the 87 Cosburn or 91 Woodbine.
• Milliken Park Fireworks: Starts at dusk. Take the 53 Steeles East or 129 McCowan North.
• Scarborough Canada Day Parade: Starts at 4 p.m. Exit at Scarborough Centre Station, or take the 95 York Mills.
• Queen’s Park Canada Day Festivities: Starts at 12 p.m. Exit at Queen’s Park Station, or take the 5 Avenue Rd, 94 Wellesley or 506 Carlton.
• Town of Markham Canada Day Parade: Parade at 4 p.m., fireworks at 10:30 p.m. Take the 129A McCowan North.

Customer can also make travel easier by using a TTC Family/Group Pass. For just $10.50, a group of up to six people, maximum two adults over 19, enjoy unlimited one day travel.

On Sunday July 1, the TTC will operate on a normal Sunday schedule. On Monday, July 2, all TTC routes will operate on their Saturday service schedules, starting at about 6 a.m.
