Toronto charities and Community Groups interested in hosting a fundraising or community awareness event/activation at TTC stations.
Toronto Charities and Community Groups are welcome to host a fundraising or community awareness event/activation at TTC stations.
Booking Process and Timelines:
- Complete the TTC Charity and Community Event Request Form at least six weeks in advance of desired event date
- A TTC representative will contact you within 5 business days to confirm details and availability.
- Provide a Certificate of Insurance listing TTC as additionally insured for 2 million dollars
- Sign a Letter of Agreement outlining the regulations and responsibilities of participating in the TTC Charity and Community Event Program.
- Provide an Affidavit If selling/fundraising on TTC Property return an affidavit ensuring that a minimum of 50% of the sale is returned to charity.
- Provide Marketing Materials that be displayed and/or distributed for review.
Program Guidelines:
- Organizations have the opportunity to activate on TTC Property for a maximum of 5 consecutive days or 5 consecutive weeks per year
- Organizations must provide a Certificate of Insurance listing the TTC as additionally insured in the amount of $2,000,000
- Organizations raising funds must provide a Charitable Registration Number
- Organizations raising funds must sign an Affidavit ensuring that that a minimum of 50% of a sale is returned to charity
- Organizations are not permitted to collect any personal information (names, age, emails, etc.)
- Organizations are required to provide a copy of marketing materials that will be displayed and distributed on TTC Property
- Organizations must clearly identify their staff and volunteers that will be onsite during the activation
- Organizations are required to sign a Letter of Agreement, detailing the regulations of this program prior to the activation, organizations must have a physical copy of the executed Letter of Agreement onsite if requested by TTC Staff
- Organizations are responsible to provide any necessary onsite equipment (tables, chairs, etc.) and responsible for the cleanup/disposal of debris from their event
- Organizations are responsible for providing collected event metrics such as interactions, materials distributed, funds raised, etc.
- Organizations are encouraged to share photos post event with TTC
