Making the TTC a Diverse and Inclusive Organization
The TTC has taken a hard look at many of our existing practices - both in how we interact with our customers and employees. Diversity and inclusion has become a top priority, as we strive to become a leader in the industry on confronting existing issues and making meaningful changes to address them.
In December 2020, we launched a 10 Point Action Plan to build greater diversity and inclusion. This includes attracting a more diverse workforce and we have begun to implement initiatives for women and other underrepresented groups. As the TTC continues to create a more inclusive workforce and enhance our practices, the 10 Point Action Plan will also positively impact the diverse communities we serve. We have also developed a broader Five-Year Diversity and Human Rights Plan and are developing an Anti-Racism Strategy as well.
