The teams behind a safe, reliable system

TTC engineering spans multiple portfolios, working together as One TTC:

  • Operations & Infrastructure Engineering – Supports service-critical infrastructure (e.g., track, power, signals, stations, facilities) and lifecycle renewal of core assets.
  • Transportation & Vehicles Engineering – Supports fleet readiness and performance across buses, streetcars, and subways through engineering, asset management, and lifecycle planning.
  • Engineering, Construction & Expansion (ECE) – Provides engineering standards, engineering review and technical governance, and supports major capital projects and system integration.
  • Sustainability & Energy (where applicable) – Supports decarbonization works, including energy planning and enabling infrastructure projects.
