Eligibility Re-Registration Program

2023 Wheel-Trans Re-Registration Requirement

To ensure that Wheel-Trans service continues to meet your needs, we're asking our registered customers who joined us before January 1, 2017, to re-register for Wheel-Trans Service.

Letters will be sent out notifying Wheel-Trans customers that they are required to submit a new Eligibility Application. The letters will stipulate that customers will have two months to submit their application form.

Why customers must re-register?

In compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), we introduced new eligibility criteria and updated the application process. Re-registration ensures that every customer is assessed using the same criteria and helps us to provide the best possible service for all customers.

There are (3) three categories of eligibility:

Unconditional eligibility: a person with a disability that prevents them from using conventional transportation services. The customer will always receive door-to-door service.

Temporary eligibility: a person with a temporary disability that prevents them from using conventional transportation services.  The customer will always receive door-to-door service.

Conditional eligibility: a person with a disability where environmental or physical barriers limit their ability to consistently use conventional transportation services.

Applications can be submitted by:
