Glencairn Station - Easier Access Project

Effective until 2024
For background information, please visit the project page.

What is the Easier Access Program?

The Easier Access Program (EAP) is a project by TTC with the goal to make all subway stations accessible to everyone regardless of their level of mobility by installing elevators, accessible doors, new/updated signage and other accessibility features.

What does the EAP mean for Glencairn Station?

Through the EAP, this station will be upgraded to make it accessible through the installation of two elevators, accessible doors, new signage, CCTV security cameras, improved lighting, and tactile tiles at the stairs. The station will remain open at all times and bus service will not be impacted during construction.

What is the current update at Glencairn Station?

You may have seen the openings on the west side of the south building. That is part of the work in progress on the construction of the foundations for both elevators.
