Portion of TTC Line 1 to close next Monday to Wednesday

The portion of Line 1 between Sheppard West and St Clair West stations will close at 11 p.m. next Mon., Nov. 18 through Wed., Nov. 20 for track maintenance.

Replacement shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to the appropriate shuttle locations, which will vary from station to station.

All stations will remain open for access to surface routes and fare sales.

Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station throughout the closure. Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and ATC upgrades.
