A Portion of TTC Line 2 to close this weekend for track maintenance

This weekend, Apr. 27-28, the portion of Line 2 between Victoria Park and Kennedy stations will be closed to allow TTC crews to perform essential track maintenance work.

Shuttle buses will run frequently and stop at each station. Wheel-Trans will be available from any station to provide service to customers requiring accessible connections.

All stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure maintenance and upgrades.

The TTC is also reminding customers that the portion of Line 1 between Bloor-Yonge and St Andrew stations will close at 11 p.m. tonight and tomorrow night to allow the TTC to continue installation of its modern automatic train control (ATC) signaling system.

Shuttle buses will run frequently and stop outside each affected station. Wheel-Trans will provide service to customers requiring accessible connections.

Wellesley Station will close at 11 p.m. but all others will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternative routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for eAlerts.
