TTC subway track work – Woodbine to Kennedy stations on June 14-15

This weekend, the Toronto Transit Commission is undertaking scheduled subway track replacement on a section of Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) between Woodbine and Kennedy stations.

Subway service will not operate between Woodbine and Kennedy stations on June 14-15. A frequent shuttle bus service will operate between the two stations, stopping at Woodbine, Main Street, Victoria Park, Warden and Kennedy stations.

The TTC will have Wheel-Trans buses available at Pape, Victoria Park and Kennedy stations to accommodate customers who use wheelchairs, scooters and other mobility devices.

This will be the third and final weekend closure for this scope of work at this location.  Subway track switches are being replaced, resulting in an improvement in service reliability.  The westbound speed restriction between Warden and Victoria Park stations will remain in effect until the end of June to allow the track foundations to settle.

The TTC thanks its customers for their patience during the three closures associated with this project.

Regular subway service will resume on Mon., June 16 at 6 a.m.
