TTC streetcars to be replaced by buses for work on several west end routes

Beginning Sun. Oct. 13, the TTC will be conducting streetcar track and platform work in the west end of the city.  As a result, replacement buses will be used on the following routes:

• 501/301 Queen and 508 Lake Shore streetcars will be replaced by buses between Long Branch Loop and Humber Loop. The replacement buses will provide service on Lake Shore Blvd. between the loops, diverting in both directions via Park Lawn Rd. and The Queensway.

Regular service on the 501/301 Queen and the 508 Lake Shore will resume on Dec. 22.

• 505 Dundas streetcars will be replaced by buses between Lansdowne Ave. and Dundas West Station.

• 506/306 replacement buses will provide service between Lansdowne Ave. and College St. and Keele Station via Howard Park Ave. and Parkside Dr.

 Regular streetcar service on the 505 Dundas and the 506/306 Carlton will resume on Nov. 24.

Customers must transfer between streetcar and replacement bus to continue their trip.
