TTC St George Station elevator to shut down for maintenance

The elevator at the TTC’s St George subway station will be out of service from Sunday, January 13 to late March 2013 for scheduled maintenance.

Customers wishing to transfer from the Bloor-Danforth Subway to the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway, or vice versa, can do so at Bloor-Yonge Station. For those who normally use St George station, they can use the TTC’s internet trip planner at ttc.ca to plan their journey using alternate bus routes or alternate, accessible subway stations.

The TTC is committed to accessibility. Today, all buses are accessible and starting next year, new low-floor accessible streetcars will begin service. By 2025, all subway stations will be barrier-free.
