TTC holds next town hall September 15 in Etobicoke - Cancelled

The Toronto Transit Commission will hold its next town hall on Saturday, September 15 from 12:30-3 p.m. at The Assembly Hall, 1 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive. (Kipling Ave. & Lake Shore Blvd. W.)

From Kipling Station, take the 44 Kipling South to Colonel Samuel Smith Park Loop.  If you are coming from the east, take the 501 Queen, get off at Lake Shore/Kipling and walk about five minutes south to Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive.

The first half hour, from 12:30-1 p.m., will feature information where the public can get more information about specific TTC initiatives and operational matters, as well as speak one-on-one with TTC staff.

The public forum will start promptly at 1 p.m. People can ask questions, make comments or offer suggestions for improvement at the TTC. Senior TTC staff will be there to listen and address issues as they arise, hearing from as many members of the public as possible in the two hours allotted.

As seating is limited, admittance is first-come, first-seated. The TTC will be following up on questions and comments via Twitter – please use the hashtag #TTCtownhall. ASL interpretation and closed-captioning will also be available at the meeting. Rogers Television will be taping the meeting for broadcast on September 16 at 5 p.m.
