These are your TTC Taste of the Danforth stations: Broadview, Chester, Pape, Donlands

As a service to your readers, listeners and viewers, who are planning to visit the 15th Annual Taste of the Danforth, Aug. 8-10, the TTC would like to pass along this transit tip: leave your car at home, or at any one of the TTC’s free weekend commuter parking lots, and take the subway.

Get on the Bloor-Danforth Subway and get off at Broadview, Chester, Pape or Donlands subway stations for direct access into the three-day event.
Starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, Danforth Avenue, from Broadview Avenue to Jones Avenue and Dewhurst Boulevard, will be closed until 2 a.m. on Monday.

The 72 Pape bus will run from Donlands Station starting on Friday at 6 p.m. TTC night bus services – the 300 Bloor-Danforth and the 303 Don Mills – will be diverting around Danforth Avenue, between Broadview and Jones.

TTC customers can access the system using a Day Pass, which is good on Saturday or Sunday or statutory holidays! For just $9 per day, a group of up to six people (maximum two adults over the age of 19) can enjoy unlimited travel all day.

Free commuter parking on weekends and holidays is available at 16 subway stations right across the system. Park your car and ride the subway.

TTC customers can call 416 393-INFO (4636) or visit www.ttc.ca for more service information and a commuter lot listing.
