The TTC serves the people of Toronto by ensuring your transit system is reliable, safe, and prepared for the future. To that end, the Board oversees matters of policy, planning TTC services; constructing, maintaining and operating the system; and expanding services and facilities.

Declarations of Interest Registry
Effective March 1, 2019, the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act requires municipalities and local boards to make a registry of declarations of interest available for public inspection.

Board Meetings
Meetings are held regularly to review policy and operating matters of the Toronto Transit Commission. Meetings are normally held at Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, Toronto; the location will be confirmed in the Agenda.
Committees
Audit and Risk Management Committee
The TTC Audit Committee assists the Board of Directors in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities for the Financial Reporting process; the system of Internal Control and the Audit process.
Former Committees

Budget Committee
The Budget Committee was dissolved effective January 10, 2019 and is no longer an active Committee. The mandate of the Committee is currently under review.
The Budget Committee was responsible for establishing the budget strategy for the annual TTC and Wheel-Trans Operating Budgets and the Five-Year Capital Program and Ten-Year Capital Forecast.

Human Resources and Labour Relations Committee
The Human Resources and Labour Relations Committee was dissolved effective January 10, 2019 and is no longer an active Committee.
The Human Resources and Labour Relations Committee assisted the Board in fulfilling its obligations relating to labour relations, human resources, health and safety, and compensation matters and to establish a plan of continuity of senior management.
