Community Liaison Program

The Community Liaison Program provides businesses, residents and commuters with regular project information, responds to enquiries and monitors construction. The Line 2 East Subway Extension’s Community Liaisons are available to answer your questions about the subway extension project and construction.

The community relations approach is guided by the following three principles established in TTC’s Good Neighbour Policy which was approved by the TTC Board at its meeting of February 25, 2013.

• We will share as much information as possible with the community;
• We will listen actively and invite public input into decision-making;
• We will inform, consult with and involve the public on projects that impact their communities.

Community events, school presentations and tours

Project staff have also participated in community events – such as movie nights, school tours or presentations and Councillor-led town hall meetings.
