Overhead Upgrades

509 Harbourfront / Queens Quay - overhead upgrades

What we are doing and why

The final phase of overhead upgrades is currently underway. This work focuses on Fleet Street, west of Bathurst Street to Fleet Loop, and began on November 24, 2024. It is expected to continue into early 2025.

During this time, the 509 Harbourfront streetcar service will operate between Union Station and Queens Quay / Spadina Loop. These upgrades are essential to ensuring the safety and reliability of our streetcar network along the Waterfront.
