47A|512Route extension

512 St Clair streetcars will not serve St Clair Avenue between Gunns Loop and Lansdowne Avenue. A new 47A/512 replacement bus will operate, servicing curbside stops. 

Construction to rehabilitate the rail overpass of the Barrie GO corridor over St Clair Avenue, west of Caledonia Road, will begin requiring the replacement of streetcar service from May 7 to December, 2023. 

Buses will operate every 10 minutes or sooner during all time periods, except in the early mornings on Sunday. 

Transfer points: 

Eastbound 512 St Clair streetcars: Customers should board from inside the bus loop, located south of St Clair Avenue and west of Lansdowne Avenue. 
Eastbound: 47A/512 Lansdowne buses: Customers should board on Gunns Road, north of St Clair Avenue. 
Westbound 47A/512 Lansdowne buses: Customers should board on Lansdowne Avenue, south of St Clair Avenue.
