TTC testing public Wi-Fi on select bus routes
The TTC is testing public Wi-Fi as part of a pilot project on the following bus routes:
- 34 Eglinton East
- 35 / 935 Jane
- 102 / 902 Markham Road
- 165 Weston Road North
The information collected will help develop a business case for future recommendations on public Wi-Fi on our surface routes.

Logging onto the free Wi-Fi
Logging onto the Wi-Fi is fast and easy!
35 / 935 Jane, 102 / 902 Markham Road and 165 Weston Road North routes:
- Step one: Connect to TTCPublicWifi from your device’s Wi-Fi settings
- Step two: Click on the “I accept the Terms of Service” button
- Step three: Begin browsing. You will have one hour to browse, after this time you will need to connect again.
If you are transferring from a 35 / 935 Jane, 102 / 902 Markham Road or 165 Weston Road North bus to the subway and want to access the Wi-Fi from the subway platform, you will need to log into the TConnect Wi-Fi when you’re in the station.
If you require technical support for Wi-Fi during your journey on the 165 Weston Road North route contact 1-877-794-0028.
Technical support is not available for routes 35/935 Jane and 102/902 Markham Road. To share your feedback please contact TTC Customer Service at 416-393-3030 or fill out a Suggestion Form.
34 Eglinton East route:
- Step one: Connect to TConnect from your device’s Wi-Fi settings
- Step two: Click on the connect to free Wi-Fi button at the bottom of the page
- Step three: Begin browsing. You will have one hour to browse, after this time you will need to connect again.
If you are transferring from a 34 Eglinton bus to the subway (and vice-versa), you will not have to worry about logging into the TConnect Wi-Fi again. As long as you are within an hour of logging into it, the Wi-Fi system on the buses along 34 Eglinton and on the subway platforms at Eglinton and Kennedy will recognize the connection and keep you logged in.
